At the heart of this technology is a powerful motor installed in a separate unit (e.g. basement or garage). Powerful suction draws air through the pipes, which are discreetly installed in the walls of your home. Once the dirt is sucked in through the suction sockets in the living area, it travels through the pipes to the cyclone filter chamber. In the pipes themselves, we have a speed of over 100 km/h!
The air pressure in the filter chamber pushes even the smallest particles against the inner walls, where they spiral down into the dirt tank. This clever system separates the fine dust from the cleaned air – all without any loss of suction power. Even larger pieces of dirt such as crumbs, animal hair or even small toys are picked up effortlessly.
The highlight: the dust does not end up in a small bag that has to be emptied constantly. Instead, everything collects in a large dirt tank that only needs to be emptied about once a year. And because the central vacuum cleaner directs the exhaust air directly outside, there is no unpleasant dust odour and no risk of allergens returning to the living space.
This ingenious system ensures more hygienic, healthier and more comfortable cleaning – and saves you valuable time on housework.
And this is how it works!
The interior of a ProfiVac central vacuum cleaner is equipped with an impact protection plate at the point where dirt enters. This protects the filter from larger dirt particles such as small stones, grains or small toys. (shown here with kidney beans) The video also shows how the dirt descends in a cyclonic pattern. This movement pushes coarse dirt and fine dust against the outer wall and transports it down into the dirt tank.
